Nanamica Spring Summer 2016 | One Ocean, All Lands
Japanese label Nanamica, which translates to ‘The House of the Seven Seas,’ produces classic silhouettes coupled with up-to-date technology. Using materials such as Gore-Tex and Pertex, Nanamica is able to create lines of functional, wind-proof and breathable clothing that are light-weight and handy enough to not restrict movements and compromise comfort.
Their Spring Summer ’16 collection offers a range of simplistically designed collared shirts, crinkled pants, outerwear and bags in shades of blue, green and white. As with most of Nanamica’s collections, this season also has very subtle hints of a nautical theme to it. It is very typical of the brand to ensure that they do not execute this theme too explicitly, as they keep their identity deeply rooted in the concept of minimalism.
Some of our favorite looks from this season include a light-weight, crinkled suit that comes in both beige and soft blue. The wind-proof pullover in heather grey also creates a stylish, sporty addition to any everyday look and can be worn comfortably regardless of the weather.
