Jun Takahashi steers Undercover in a different direction for this Fall/Winter 2016 collection.  The main source of inspiration was the enigmatic works of Belgian artist Michael Borremans.  Michael Borremans’ paintings resemble sedate renaissance Flemish masterpieces, often presenting an evocative combination of solemn-looking characters, unusual close-ups, and unsettling still life.

Imagery of the artworks are incorporated onto the garments of this collection as they introduce more muted pastels and wider silhouettes.  Rounding up the collection is a selection of accessories from caps to backpacks.

Apart from the pieces from the Undercover line, we’ve also selected some JohnUNDERCOVER items from the new Fall/Winter 2016 collection.  This new collection comprises of more minimal and basic street-inspired menswear pieces, highlighting re-interpretations of the military, varsity and coach jackets, which have been juxtaposed with cozy wool attires, oversized blazers and color-block henley shirts.  Something Undercover fans should not miss out on this season is the selection of trim trousers.
