It all started in 1997 when Eugenia gave herself a regretful haircut. To disguise the sheared atrocity, she wore a red guinea-feathered cloche that was designed and created in millinery class while attending the Parsons School of Design. The was the day the millinery landscape was forever changed when she proceeded to launch a self-titled label , Eugenia Kim, mirroring her inventive style which created a buzz throughout the industry. Since its launch, she has seen her line propel to the top, and adorned on numerous It girls – including Miroslava Duma, Beyonce and Claire Boucher.
With clean shapes and a fresh and feminine modernity, her line expanded to scarves, gloves, belts and shoes, in 2004, Eugenia Kim was awarded ‘ Accessories Designer of the Year’ by the CFDA. The bold colours and high quality materials are signature elements that definte her line.
